Referral Program Terms

Qualifying opportunities

The referral bonus applies only to opportunities that BrightScale identifies as qualifying under the program. A submitted referral does not guarantee that an opportunity qualifies.

Eligible referrers

Bonus eligibility is subject to BrightScale's published program rules and any legal, contractual, employment, or client restrictions that apply to the referrer.

Referral ownership and duplicates

BrightScale determines referral ownership using its submission records. If more than one person refers the same professional, the first eligible, complete referral received generally has priority, subject to review.

Existing records and current applications

A referral may be ineligible if the professional is already in BrightScale's recruiting database, is already working with the recruiting team, or has an active application for a relevant opportunity.

Self-referrals

Self-referrals are not eligible for a referral bonus. Professionals interested in BrightScale opportunities should apply through the Careers page.

Referral consent

The referrer must have the professional's permission before sharing their personal information with BrightScale for recruiting purposes.

Hiring and eligibility requirements

A referral becomes eligible for further review only if the referred professional is hired for a qualifying opportunity and all published program requirements are satisfied. A referral submission does not guarantee an interview, offer, hire, or bonus.

Eligibility period and date

Any required employment or engagement period, and the date on which a bonus becomes eligible, will apply only after BrightScale management approves and publishes those requirements. No duration is currently published.

Payment and taxes

Approved bonuses are paid using a method designated by BrightScale after eligibility is confirmed. The recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes, reporting, or withholding requirements.

Program changes

BrightScale may modify, suspend, or end the referral program, subject to applicable law. The rules in effect for a submission will be considered during eligibility review.

Geographic eligibility

Geographic eligibility will be applied only after BrightScale management approves and publishes the applicable locations. No geographic restriction is currently published.

Accurate submissions

Fraudulent, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate submissions are not eligible. BrightScale may request information needed to verify a referral and program eligibility.
