About the role
Design, build, and operate secure, multi-account AWS landing zones for a Fortune 500 enterprise modernizing 200+ workloads from on-prem to cloud-native.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement multi-account AWS Control Tower landing zones with guardrails and SCPs.
- Build reusable Terraform modules for VPCs, EKS clusters, RDS, S3, and observability stacks.
- Lead application migrations using rehost, replatform, and refactor patterns.
- Partner with security to enforce CIS, NIST 800-53, and PCI controls in-pipeline.
- Coach platform and product teams on cloud-native architecture and FinOps practices.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in cloud or infrastructure engineering with 4+ years on AWS at production scale.
- Deep Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and Linux fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with IAM, KMS, networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink), and observability tooling.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder presence.

- Multi-cloud (Azure or GCP) exposure
